Style 7721 is a true unidirectional 6
oz/sq yd fiberglass fabric that has all the glass going in the warp
direction with only a little bit of glass in the fill direction. The
edges are coated with a 1/4" wide band of acrylic to keep everything
together on the edge. It is finished in a silane for epoxy resins.
This is very nice and expensive material that we got a real deal on
and are selling cheap. This was originally used in the circuit
industry making a superior type laminate whereby the orientation of
the glass was alternated to create a board that was much more
stable. They closed their main factory up and sold me over
100,000 yards of the material which I have here in High Point.
The normal size of roll is around 1400 yards. If you find a
use for this material and can use a lot we'll make a real deal on
it. The price
for 20, 30, 50, 100 and 125 yard rolls is $ 2.00 per linear yard for 38",
$2.32 per yard for 44", $2.63 per yard for 50" and $2.95 per yard
for 56" width plus shipping.
We recently did a
mailing and have a bunch of small sample pieces that measure about 3
x 4" in a small plastic bag. We can mail you one of these with
a price list that'll have most all the cloth we sell also.
